Ms. Luckey has been the library media specialist (LMS) for four years at the Academy of World Languages (AWL). She has a dual role at AWL as both a media specialist and technology coordinator. She works with students from over 40 different nationalities. Students in grades K-4 focus mostly on literacy and learning how use the library media center. Those in grades 5-8 focus their attention on both literacy and technology skills such as keyboarding, search skills, and becoming better learners of the 21st century.

Objectives of the LMC
The AWL Library Media Center is located at the front of the building. The library is open to all students and staff. Students may use the library for checking out books, using computers, research, tutoring amongst other activities.
